here are my favorite game projects that i've worked on in the past.
Risk of Fail
2022 - 2024
Level Designer, Gameplay Programmer
As lead developer for the BYTES club's Risk of Fail, I implemented the core gameplay loop, enemy AI using A* pathfinding, and UI functionalities. I was also tasked with designing some of the levels in the game ensuring a fair layout that promotes replayability through collectibles.
With the theme “Only 2 Colors,” I helped develop a system for dynamically changing rooms around the player while being pursued by an AI. I also designed the UI, color grading, and room layouts, and modeled props in Blender to enhance the game’s atmosphere.
For the game jam themed “Evolve,” I implemented systems to scale enemy frequency and toughness dynamically and designed a rogue-lite progression system for Xtreme Neo Combat.
